Hello! I am Erica Midkiff, a freelance copy editor by day (among my clients are Pure Green and Kinfolk). I love words, but I'm also a very visual person, and I enjoy doing creative things like making jewelry and taking photographs. I grew up in southern Virginia, lived in Boston for five years, and just moved to Birmingham, AL, with my love. It feels like home. Hello!

I created a post in November with pictures from our visit to UVA's Rotunda (designed by Thomas Jefferson). I forgot to put it up, so I've scheduled it for this upcoming week; this is an image from that trip.

I'm solidly booked (with work, travel, M's birthday, and a family visit) between now and April 14, so I know I probably won't post anything here until at least then. I think about it often, but things are just too busy right now.

I'll be back eventually, with house photos! Yes!!
